I am glad to inform you about the new professional society in Albania, the Albanian Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ASICM). ASICM is already part of European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM) in legitime partnership as national society.
ASICM is the best expression of nowadays trend of development of Critical Care/Intensive Care Medicine worldwide. The anesthesiologists, pneumologist, cardiologist, internal medicine physicians, nephrologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, neurosurgeons and infective disease physicians are united to improve the service quality in Intensive Care Units all over the world.
ASICM is a non-profit professional society that tends to improve knowledges, spread all the news in the field, and to enhance the collaboration between the specialties. ASICM is open to all physicians, regardless the field of clinical expertise, to be part of our society to better collaborate and to improve the patient’s prognosis.
